What is The Nugget App?
You define what “family friendly” means for you. You can search a detailed list of 30+ amenities and features such as: baby change in women's room, men's room or unisex toilets; high chair; kids' menu; environment vibes; dietary needs; dog friendly; fast service; and more.

Why "The Nugget"?
Naming a business might be harder than naming a child. When our founder Faith was struggling with business names, a friend asked what she called her kids. "Nugget" is the dear nickname for her kids, and it felt like a fun name for an app connecting families and restaurants with nuggets of key information.
Why a membership?
We are creating a community of families who want to enjoy more time out with their kids. We want this to be a give and take relationship as we find places that work for our families AND help other parents find the right fit for them. Join us!
How much is it to join?
Free! We want families to have access to the information they need to make quicker decisions so they can spend more time having fun together (or at least trying our best to!). Join us!
Why are restaurant reviews so important?
We’ve all gone to a place that said “family friendly” only to find out that it’s a better fit for other families, not ours. Reviews are key to help us know what to expect.
For instance, how old is the kids(s) who you dined out with? What works for a 9 year old isn’t the same as for a 3 year old or a baby.
We also want to leverage our reviews as a unified voice for change.
Parents continue to tell us how much they want to see more healthy kids' meal options, crayons on the table, and baby changes in the men's room. We know that small tweaks can have a big impact on families' experiences.
Your reviews can bring more visibility and accountability to the needs of each family member.
Why restaurants?
We see restaurants as social spaces that can bring people together. We’ve surveyed hundreds of parents who want to dine out but find it too stressful with kids and too time-consuming to find a restaurant.
Whether it’s celebrating a special occasion or avoiding cooking at home, they want to know what to expect and if they’ll feel welcome.
Restaurants are the starting point for us. We want to see more places be more welcoming for families.
Can I add a restaurant?
Yes, please! Use the link to send us the location so we can add it to The Nugget App. You can also tag @thenugget.app on Instagram so we can share it there too!
In the future, we will have a feature where parents can add restaurants directly.
Can I update restaurant details?
Yes, please! Every details matters. Send us a message with the correct information so that we can update it as needed. Thank you for taking the time to help!
Will you expand out of London?
Yes! We are eager and ready to add new cities. Once we have 25 restaurants identified, we can update The Nugget App to include a new city. Tell us, where should we add next?
